Thank you for making the first Florida International
Piano Competition a great success! With sixteen countries represented,
the 2008 competition brought talent of the highest caliber to our community as it will again in 2010. We are well on
our way to becoming a world-class piano competition destination. Performance engagements around the world are upcoming
for the First Prize Winner, with several national engagements for all three prize winners.
And now, the tradition
of the Spring Recital Series enters its third season, featuring the inaugural competition's top prize winners
of the
2008 competition. My sincere thanks for your continued support of the FIPC.
